This course was devoted to the study of Shakespeare’s life and works. We focused on his career as a poet, playwright, actor, and theater owner. We also looked at the ecological context of Shakespeare’s life and works.
This paper was a deep reading paper of a sonnet from a given list. I went with sonnet 12.
This was a research paper on Hamlet, where I was asked to write 8-10 pages on the play using an ecocritical and/or ecofeminist lens.
Our final exam consisted of two questions but we could only answer one. I spent an hour and 15 minutes on a two page response to the prompt and I’m rather proud of it.
