This intro course was designed to provide an introduction to the key institutions and processes of American government as well as Georgia State government. Students examined the historical context of American government, the evolution of American institutions since the founding, and discuss the role that we, as citizens, play in our democratic government. We also examined contemporary issues and current political events to see examples of governmental institutions and processes at work.
