This course was not something that I was used to taking as it focused on what I call “the other side of the English degree.” I usually focused on courses that revolved around writing and different types of genre books. The other side of the English degree focused on philosophy, theorists and concepts such as semiotics (which I promptly withdrew from. However, despite my better judgement, I went through this course and actually enjoyed it a lot. We had four assignments for the course: creating cards that summarized terms for the month, a midterm, a term paper, and a final exam that was “Russian Style.”
Below you will find my term paper which is something that I am still incredibly proud of.
